Electrical Engineer — AutoCAD Design
NavonLogic is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to support industrial electrical design and AutoCAD drawing development. The engineer will turn design criteria, field information, vendor data, and engineering markups into accurate, coordinated deliverables.
What you will do
- Develop and review electrical one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, panel layouts, and installation details
- Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawing packages, including redlines and as-built updates
- Check designs for technical accuracy, constructability, coordination, and document control
- Coordinate electrical interfaces with controls, instrumentation, vendors, contractors, and field teams
- Support design reviews, field verification, construction questions, commissioning, and turnover as assigned
What is required
- Active U.S. Professional Engineer license in good standing in at least one state
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Strong AutoCAD experience with two-dimensional electrical design and drafting
- Ability to develop and review industrial electrical drawings and technical schedules
- Experience with industrial facilities, power distribution, MCCs, switchgear, motors, controls, or brownfield projects
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Ability to obtain additional state licensure when required by a project
